Since joining The Males Place in 2023, Niccolas Awokoya has played a vital role as an Elder and Mentor, sharing his knowledge and experiences to guide young Black men on their journey to manhood. He is dedicated to introducing cultural history lessons, mentoring warriors, and helping develop presentations for the TMP family, ensuring that each young man understands his legacy and responsibilities. Passionate about empowerment and community-building, Niccolas strives to inspire the next generation to grow, aspire, and excel as leaders in their communities.

Firmly rooted in the wisdom of Global Afrikan History, Niccolas believes that the collective work of Afrikan people worldwide is essential in securing a strong future for the next generation. He upholds the belief that the Black family is the foundation upon which Black children and the broader community build, ensuring a legacy of resilience, strength, and excellence.

Beyond his mentorship, Niccolas is an award-winning filmmaker and the owner of Koya Filmworkz, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Hampton University and a Master of Arts degree from American University. Through his mentorship and creative work, he is committed to ensuring that young Black men embrace their heritage, honor their community, and step into manhood with confidence and purpose.
