At The Males Place, Varnell Bien-Aime has been a committed Mshauri of the Zulu Kingdom for over six years. In his role, he provides spiritual leadership as TMP Chaplain, leading the organization in prayer and member care while ensuring that the young men develop a strong sense of discipline, purpose, and financial literacy. He also facilitates TMP’s financial literacy initiative, coordinates outings to sporting events and theatrical performances, and represents The Males Place at various city-wide events. His leadership is instrumental in planning and executing the organization’s vision and mission, including his involvement in nationwide panel discussions and leadership at the Rosa Parks Farmers Market.

A devoted father to his three children—Niccolaz, Nyjhol, and Nyomi—Varnell enjoys working out, going for walks, playing golf, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Varnell Bien-Aime is the Founder & Director of American Insurance Management Group LLC (AIM), a consulting and financial services firm specializing in Capital Markets, Insurance, and Wealth Planning for businesses in the Greater Charlotte area. With over 20 years of experience in financial services and management, he has held leadership roles at major institutions, including Wachovia Securities and Merrill Lynch’s prestigious Professional Management Development program. His expertise extends to real estate investment and development in Central America and the Caribbean, as well as forex and futures trading, where he has spent 15 years analyzing forex funds and mentoring aspiring traders.

As a dedicated community leader, Varnell has been a featured speaker on numerous financial literacy panels, leading workshops for churches and nonprofits on wealth management and economic empowerment. In addition, he serves as the Director of Ministry at Freedom Church of Charlotte, where he uses his 20+ years of ministry leadership experience to inspire, teach, and guide others in their faith journey. His approach to ministry is rooted in the belief that he is “helping believers think and helping thinkers believe.”
